Well, I call them Los ninos but in fact they were a group of six mexican boys and girls from 16
to 33 years. Daniel, the diving instructor and his wife Yotli, followed by 4 children.
Not their own, of course :-)...Karla, David, Liz and Lalu came to Cuba to learn diving.
I met them accidentally in the Playa Salado when they were preparing for a dive. From
this moment I spent whole 6 days and nights with them - diving, travelling, exploring
the Old Havana and Cuba in general...
Here we are, all together (Dan is taking the picture) the dream diving team :-). Those
two guys in back are our cuban guides, Toni and Ebelio.
I will never forget the trip to Old Havana (Yotli might tell you how much she loves the cuban
public transport) and the entrance to Capitolio where I for the first time shouted to the
group: "Vamos, ninos..." :-) Or the Carneval night - the decompression stop (parada de descompresion)
is an excelent name for stopping and drinking a beer, good idea David, I really did not count
how many stops we made :-). Anyway, our main goal there in Cuba was diving...
Los ninos floating in the water...
Some divers, like Daniel, like exploring the water. Here you see him entering the sunk
boat - well, do not expect a portugese boat from the 16th century. It's just
a small iron fisherman boat, not older than 20 or 30 years...
And some divers do not listen to good advices of their wise friends...How many times I told you, Yotli, not to smoke
marijuana when you go diving. But it must be her hobby, she smokes, dives and forgets about everything.
Does not follow the leader, floats alone and plays with fishes. But no wonder, those 'cabrones mejicanos'
must be borned with a joint in the mouth I suppose :-)))
Unfortunately, the week passed very quickly and Los ninos had to leave. Anyway, I'm sure
we'll meet again - in this life or in the other one...Well, don't take it too serious :-)
You can visit me in Prague or here in Cuba to dive again ;-)...
To Yotli: Sorry for publishing your picture but it's so lovely :-)...
